Embark on a captivating space journey in the endless beauty next to the oldest inhabited medieval town in Europe – which forms part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.

Join us for a fun, interactive and insightful sky watching tour, stargazing experience and fascinating storytelling.

In the tour will explore the night sky with several telescopes and a laser pointer. We will see and learn about planets, constellations, navigation, satellites, clusters, and maybe some shooting stars. Through telescopes we will get up close looks at some of these objects and take in their beauty with our own eyes.

Stratos k.

Instructor

Amateur astronomer-astrophotographer and co-owner of the "Evdimos" Observatory. Since the 90's, he has been capturing astronomical phenomena and since the beginning of 2000 he has been participating in astronomical conferences and astronomical photography exhibitions all over Greece and abroad. The "Evdimos" observatory was built in 2005 and since then, apart from astronomical photography, it participates in popular events. To this day he participates in various European programs related to astronomy and archaeo-astronomy and continues to record astronomical phenomena while at the same time continuing to study archaeo-astronomical issues on the island.
